China Telecom makes plans after China Unicom buy

China Telecom Corp Ltd is expected to set up a company to procure CDMA handsets, the Beijing Times reported, citing sources.
The report said the new company will be responsible for customizing and purchasing CDMA handsets.
China Telecom, formerly an all-fixed line company, has taken over China Unicom (nyse: CHU - news - people )s CDMA business.
